1 tbsp urad dal

2 tbsp chana dal

Method:

 

Firstly, dry roast whole red chillies, black peppercorns, chana dal, and urad dal in a pan.

Secondly, roast for 4-5 minutes. Now add rice and sesame seeds to the pan. Roast for another 2 minutes on low flame.

Lastly, add curry leaves, hing, salt, and desiccated coconut powder and roast for 2 more minutes.

Take off the flame and let the mix cool down a bit. Now add to a blender, make a coarse powder, and store in an airtight jar.
